contact data

Lusha

Lusha provides contact data with a browser extension. This profile covers what it does, how it is priced, and where it stops being the right choice.

What the product actually does

Lusha resolves a LinkedIn profile or a company domain to an email address and a phone number, primarily through a browser extension that a rep uses while prospecting. The workflow is capture rather than search.

The phone coverage is the differentiator. Lusha's direct-dial numbers connect at a materially higher rate than inferred ones, and for a team doing outbound calling that difference is the product.

How pricing works once you are inside

Per seat with a monthly credit allowance, where email reveals and phone reveals cost different amounts. The phone credits are the scarce ones and the tier structure reflects that.

The free tier is small but real, and it is enough to test coverage on your own target list before buying — which is the only evaluation that matters for a data product.

Where it breaks down

Coverage outside its strong regions. Lusha is strongest in North America and Western Europe and thinner elsewhere, and a team selling into other markets will notice.

The extension model also depends on the sites it reads. A change to LinkedIn's markup degrades capture until the vendor updates, and there is nothing the customer can do but wait.

What switching costs

Low. Captured contacts live in the CRM, and the extension is a thin client with no data to migrate.
